Send me your 4ply weight sock yarn, and I will knit it into a tube for you to add cuffs, heels, and toes!
This listing is for one 100g skein or two 50g skeins of your sock yarn cranked into a tube.
• Choose your stitch count.
Most sock yarns will knit up to 8-9 stitches and 10-12 rows per inch. Choose your stitch count by measuring around your foot while accounting for the need for negative ease in your finished sock.
54 Stitch – approximately 6 inches or 15cm in circumference
64 Stitch – approximately 7 1/4 inch or 18 1/2 cm circumference
72 Stitch – approximately 8 inches or 20 1/4 cm circumference
• Choose whether you would like me to reserve yarn for cuffs, heels, and toes, otherwise, you can pick some contrasting or coordinating yarn from your stash!
• Once I receive your order. I will contact you via Etsy with my shipping address for you to send me your yarn.
• When I receive your yarn, I will crank it into a tube for you. The turnaround time will depend on the quantity of yarn you wish to have knitted up and how many orders are already in the queue. Each end of the tube will have waste yarn attached. There will be waste yarn between each skein if providing 2 x 50g skeins.
• I will ship your knitted tube back to you – ready to be finished! As the customer, you pay for the return shipping cost. If ordering more than one tube, I will refund any excess postage paid.
NOTE ON YARN
• I prefer to only crank fingering/sock weight yarn on my machine. I can knit 8ply (DK) socks on a 54 or 64-stitch cylinder only. Thicker yarn or lace weight is not accepted.
• A nylon blend is great for socks, but I will also crank plain wool or acrylic if that is your preference. Please note that they might not hold their shape or wear as well.
If you are unsure…..PLEASE check with me before ordering.
IMPORTANT NOTE
• When ordering other items from my shop with cranking services, all items will ship together when the service is complete. Please let me know if you would like to receive your other items sent immediately.
•••This is a service only. Not Finished Socks. •••
This service is additional and you need to buy the wool separately. Just add the tube knitting service for every 100g yarn you would like to have knitted into a tube.
